Philippines Overtakes India as Hub for Call Centers

Business process outsourcing (BPO) has been a blooming indusrty in Asia. By 2020 it is forseen that the BPO industry will steadily  rise, now reaching to a  $ 170 Billion dollar business.  The Philippines overtakes India as hub for call centers. As BPO rises, all call centers establishement floruished in any parts of the Philippine island. Provinces were subdued particularly Cebu, Baguio, Bacolod, Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro.

The rapid growth of the industry showed more than 100 call center offices located elsewhere in the country. Call center services in the Philippines include inbound and outbound. This entails about various categories such as inquiries, help desk, technical support, medical transcription, credit card verification, data encoding, telemarketing, telesurvey and a lot more.

This promising industry has contributed much to the Philippine economy  by employing highly qualified Filipinos regardless of age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and above all educational  attainment. The major factor to get hired is fluency in English and trainable personality. 

Ofshore investors prefer Philippines for BPO business due to the fact that Filipinos are highly westernized and easily trained for the industry. As of the present, many Filipinos professional and highly skilled individual were employed and earning an average of $500 USD a month.
